In depth

Verdict

Very little for us to go on here, and the market is clearly going to be the best guide. There are plenty of stables who do well in these sort of contests who have runners entered, notably Martin Pipe with Enitsag, Nigel Hawke (Honneur Fontenail), Nigel Twiston-Davies (Luxembourg) and Brendan Powell (She's Yours). However the TEAMtalk vote goes to the one with experience and from a top yard, and that is Follow Up. The Phardante gelding should love the good ground and showed plenty of promise when fourth on his debut at Worcester in May to suggest he can make that experience pay here.
