Verdict

Ballet Score has something to prove after flopping behind Monturani over course and distance last month, but it is possible that she found the ground too fast that day. She is proven on a soft surafce and could bounce back here. Lady's Secret had a nice confidence booster last time and this filly, who still holds an entry in the Ribblesdale Stakes next week, must not be underestimated. Sosumi, is more exposed than most and it would be a surprise if there is nothing to beat her. Tawoos needs to improve again to take a hand in the finish, but Trojan Princess wiil find this a lot easier than when down the field in the French 1000 guineas. Threefold, the winner of an ordinary maiden at Windsor, will do better now that she steps up in trip, but the vote goes to Succinct, who left a favourable impression when scoring at Salisbury. The latter, out of an Unfuwain mare, should relish underfoot conditions and can take this before going onto better things.
