Nightspot, King of Connacht and Smirfy's Silver catch the eye in a handicap where few have shown solid recent form, with Nightspot given a tentative vote. King of Connacht has run respectably of late on a faster surface, but the extra cut in the ground here will be of benefit. He won on good ground at Southwell and returns to his winning mark here. He can run well at a good price. Smirfy's Silver is very consistent and has only finished out of the frame on one occasion in his last 6 outings. He handles this ground well-he won on it at Leicester three outings ago, and looks sure to be in the shake up. Nightspot is without a win this season but handles cut in the ground well and has slipped down the weights. Placed efforts at Bath and Chepstow suggest Nightspot is capable of lifting this prize.
