DAME JUDI was well backed on her debut at Windsor and only found one too good. She made most of the running there and may be capable of staying out in front today on this quicker surface. Volition steps up to this distance for the first time but was keeping on over 7f at Newmarket, despite racing keenly, so should get home. Side Hill was fourth in that race and is a likely improver but Aghaany will be qualified for handicaps after this and Aurora Gray may need the run. Entsar cost 260,000gns and is a half-sister to several winners so is probably the pick of the newcomers, though Sycara has a miler's pedigree and is worth a market check.
