In depth

Verdict

Lorien Hill looks the pick of the weights here and can beat Danclare and Music Maid. The Barry Hills trained filly is progressing nicely and was quite impressive when landing a Beverley maiden last week, she looks well treated for her return to handicaps and can win this before the assessor gets her in his grip. Danclare takes a steep drop in class after running down the field in the Nell Gwyn and this Kempton winner looks on a a very fair mark. Music Maid progressed nicely last season winning three times and will strip much fitter following her seasonal reappearance at Ascot. Hot Lips Page could be the dark horse in the line-up, her final two-year-old effort was quite promising and she hails from a yard in form. However Lorien Hill has the best recent form and is taken to land the spoils.
