Verdict

CRYSTAL MALT has the best form of those with racecourse experience. She went within a neck of catching the winner at Doncaster last time and her stable has won this five times in the last seven years. Outclassed in the Albany Stakes at Ascot last time, Secret Lightning should do better in this grade but one of the newcomers is likely to prove a bigger danger. Bellajeu, who cost 300,000gns, sports her owner's first colours ahead of Beauty Of The Sea and Epic Find while Fast Romance may prove best of Paul Cole's three runners. Dolorous, Sister Of Mercy and Teosroyal are others to note.
