Verdict

In a maiden that won't take much winning we'll side with newcomer QUADRILLE ahead of Chips O'Toole and fellow new boy Mr Corby. There's no better trainer of two-year-olds in the country than Richard Hannon and with his yard firing the selection should add to his record. Related to an Oaks winner and several other success stories he'll probably want a bigger test of stamina in time but this looks a good level of introduction. Chips O'Toole ran an encouraging debut when placing in a big field last time. The usual improvement form first run to second should guarantee a challenge. Any support for Mr Corby would be interesting considering who the owners are and with his sire proving successful so far he is entitled to go well. High On A Hill, Hooligan Sean and Frances Stuart all have enough about them to suggest a decent first run but if Quadrille can live up to his breeding he should make a winning debut.
