In depth

Verdict

GLINT OF STEEL was under three lengths behind Mr Mercurial in a point-to-point at Horseheath in February and that one finished well ahead of an out-of-sorts Twirling Magnet in the Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham. On that evidence, Charlie Marshall's mount should be the one to beat as he gets 8lb here from the top weight. Featherintheattic has no form which suggests he'll be opening his account over fences any time soon and Trafalgar appears to have lost the plot.
