Verdict

Barbados isn't a stable star and looks vulnerable after a disappointing run at Cork but Red Gerry looks to be improving enough to go close. Noel Meade's charge followed a good run at Dundalk with an even better effort in a course and distance handicap when just failing to match strides with Blenheim Palace. ELIZABETH WAY has a superb pedigree being by Frankel out of Coronation Stakes winner Maids Causeway. She's a half-sister to three winners and ran well enough on her debut at Naas in November to suggest the Godolphin-owned filly could be up to winning this. Her stable companion Rayounpour is another well-connected type who wouldn't need to be anything special to get involved.
