In depth

Verdict

Decimal Day's fourth at Cork has sent out mixed messages and he continually jumped left on a return visit last month. Flying Scotsman completed a double on the Flat at the Galway Festival last summer but didn't really shine over timber though may do better on this quicker ground. Na Caith Tobac, another dual winner on the Flat, has been placed in three of four starts over timber but Showbusiness, beaten a neck on his hurdling bow at Naas, has failed to make the expected progress in subsequent starts though is another who may do better in these conditions. VERMILION CLIFFS, a winner at Dundalk for Aidan O'Brien, made a promising hurdling debut for new connections at Wexford and won't need to improve much to land this.
