Verdict

WRITTEN INTHESTARS has returned from a spell between the flags in fine form and won easily at Limerick. An 11lb rise looks harsh but this is a moderate contest and Patrick Corbett's claim can enable Robert Tyner's charge to go in again. Peoples Park was well supported when beating a big field at Fairyhouse in November and also when disappointing at Leopardstown a month later. He hasn't had much experience and can do better but Bloomsday's best run came over 2m6f and this looks on the short side. Dave's Stamper is still a maiden after eleven starts over timber while Blackandamber Vic is inconsistent and 10lb higher than her only success.
