In depth

Verdict

Denis Hogan got off the mark at Naas on Monday and though five-times winner Cyrus Dallin has a big weight his rider's claim reduces the burden and he can get involved. Aussie Valentine won at the Curragh just over a year ago and is now 4lb lower but he finished a long way behind Golden Valour at Dundalk in March. That was over 1m2f and the winner looks best over that trip on Polytrack while Koybig is 6lb higher than his last winning mark though he's very closely matched with MUTADAAWEL on their run at Dundalk in March. The latter only won by a short-head but was narrowly beaten at the Curragh and Newmarket last summer and gets a tentative vote in a tricky finale. Gee Rex, who was heavily supported on his debut for Joseph O'Brien at Naas on Monday, would have to be considered if getting a run from his reserve spot.
