In depth

Verdict

Lust was well supported for his debut over 7f at the Curragh but missed the break and couldn't get competitive. He'll have come on a bundle for the experience and should do much better. Los Andes also looked in need of a run when mid-division in a strong maiden at Leopardstown in which Popular Verdict finished three lengths behind him. Wonder Spirit is by Charm Spirit out of a 7f winner while Fernando Vichi is by Australia out of a 1m2f winner so a mile looks a good starting point. BRAZIL is by Galileo and the seventh foal of a mare who has produced five winners by the same sire, including Irish Derby winner Capri. He gets the vote to make a successful debut.
