In depth

Verdict

There was plenty to admire about the way ESPOIR D'SOLEIL quickened to land a Leopardstown maiden and she looks to have been underestimated on a mark of 83 so gets the vote. Pincheck went up 9lb for a comfortable course and distance victory and couldn't quite cope at Roscommon but Canary Row has been in excellent form all summer and landed a Listed contest at Killarney before finding heavy going against him at Listowel. Atlas is 1-19 and was a bit disappointing on soft going at Killarney last time while Try Again's victories have been on Polytrack and fast going.
