In depth

Verdict

A very good prize has attracted a decent field of youngsters. Glamorous Approach made a successful debut at Tipperary and wasn't beaten far in Listed company there next time. Landofhopeandglory had only to be pushed out to land a Galway maiden and is entered in all the major juvenile events, though the form of that contest has worked out poorly. Reddot Roman came with a late run to beat Sevenleft over 7f at Gowran but the runner-up looks to have a good chance of reversing the form on 7lb better terms. JEFFERSON DAVIS was beaten a long way behind today's rival Whiskey Sour at Galway but has made great strides since tackling nurseries. He easily beat Dancing On Air at Killarney before caught in the closing stages in a similar class handicap to this at Tipperary where Clon Rocket was back in third - that form could be good enough.
