Ancient Sands won this last year and hasn't had much racing subsequently but he's still 12lb higher. Aidan O'Brien has no less than five entered and jockey bookings don't give any clues but BAZAAR was so impressive when carrying a big weight to victory at Navan that he can come out on top of the quintet and complete a quick double. Lucky Bridle will be back over hurdles before too long but has a chance here after following his Bellewstown victory with a very good fourth in a similar event to this at the Curragh. Cailini Alainn has only run twice but won in a canter at Leopardstown and makes his handicap debut from the bottom of the weights. Sereza ran much too badly to be true at Navan in May after a very impressive victory the previous month and Dermot Weld should have her back to her best.
