Thank Your Stars has only raced on ground with plenty of give including when fourth on his return at Cork. There's no reason why the better going shouldn't suit and he's an obvious candidate though LAKE WORTH looks the one to beat. Dermot Weld's colt is out of a Group 3 winning mare and he also reappeared on testing ground at Cork where his attempt to make all only was just foiled by Mujaazef. Kevin Prendergast has won two of the four runnings of this event and though his Zayaan was disappointing when strongly fancied at Dundalk he may not have been suited by the surface. One to keep an eye on for the future is the John Oxx-trained newcomer Kaladena, who is closely related to several high-class performers including Kalanisi and Kalaman.
