Verdict

INXILE won this in 2009 when Snaefell, who had scored a year earlier, was around three lengths behind. The former has been running well in high grade at Meydan this winter and should be ready to take this for the second time. Snaefell finished a close third in this last year and a light campaign was highlighted by a Group 3 success at the Curragh in August for which he is penalised. The former Italy-based Lui Rei was also in action at Meydan before a fine effort in a Listed contest at Lingfield. He's capable of a big run but could just be better over an extra furlong. Three-year-olds often have an advantage at this time of year providing they are speedy enough and Knock Stars, who found 7f too far on her return at Leopardstown, has the pace to get involved while Partner, who went from being rated 70 at the beginning of last year to a final mark of 97, will be better for a promising run at Dundalk earlier this month.
