Verdict

Yukon Lil, who beat the useful Scarlet And Dove on her chasing bow at Cork, jumped poorly in a Grade 2 at Thurles last month and will need a much better round if she's to trouble stable companion Elimay, an excellent second to her odds-on stablemate Allaho, also in a Thurles Grade 2. She has a penalty to carry for last year's victory at that level and conceding 5lb to SHATTERED LOVE may prove beyond her. Gordon Elliott's mare, already a seven-times winner over fences, has competed at a very high level throughout her career and has two Grade 1's to her credit. An easy winner of a Listed contest at Clonmel in November, she's just handed the vote.
