In depth

Verdict

Noel Meade and Willie Mullins have won the previous two renewals and can fight out the finish here. The former saddles NED BUNTLINE, who made the well regarded Jezki pull out all the stops on his racecourse debut at Leopardstown in January and it will take a smart performance to lower his colours. Mullins runs the newcomer City Slicker, who is owned by Mrs John Magnier and cost a tidy sum. He'll know his job and could be anything while Gabriel Brandy is another newcomer to keep an eye on. King William and Milan Bound have both shown enough to suggest they can get competitive in a race that should produce winners.
