RED PERSIAN'S victory at Leopardstown came over 7f but he showed he had the pace for this in a strong nursery at Navan last time and his rider's claim is a real bonus. He's taken to concede weight all round though Yolo Star followed a cracking effort behind Actress at the Curragh in May by beating Damselfly, a subsequent winner, at Cork a few days later. The fact that she hasn't run since is a concern and the runner-up's yard is represented by Castrogiovanni, who was in the lead at this trip in a Fairyhouse nursery last month. Island Affair, who finished fifth in that latter event, won a 7f Leopardstown claimer earlier so may find this on the short side .
