    In depth

    Verdict

Dark Ruler has been second in a couple of maidens but was beaten a long way on both occasions and isn't really improving. We'll stick with DUBAI CELEBRATION who justified market support over a mile here at the start of the month and should be capable of defying a 4lb higher mark in this company. Seldom showed a bit more at Newcastle last time and isn't badly treated while Linda Perratt's pair Berbice and Ebony Clarets must have some sort of chance but Newcastle winner Cadgers Brig may need a more searching test of stamina than he'll get on this sharp track. Mangham struggles to get his head in front but may be best of the rest.
