Verdict

Rebel Soldier Boy returns to handicapping having beaten My Friend Stan in a maiden at Catterick while Alix James won a novices race over track and trip at the end of last year. The Mackem Missile finished runner-up in novice company when last in action and Star Of St James was beaten only a length in a lower grade at Ayr last time. But SINGLE ANGLAIS (NAP) has been competing in better company than this at York since scoring at Carlisle and with improvement expected on his second start after wind surgery, Nigel Tinkler’s charge gets the vote.
