        Verdict

        Palazzo is better off in this race than if it were a handicap though a certaint amount of bravery is required for punters to get stuck into a horse that is 0-15 on Turf. He was just ahead of THE GAY BLADE when the pair met here ten days ago but Iain Jardine’s gelding looks a little more open to progression and is taken to turn the form around. Monaadhil was runner-up in this race last season and Ruth Carr has saddled a few winners of late while Zarina Grande was highly tried as a juvenile so this assignment has to be viewed as a significant drop in class for Richard Fahey’s inmate.
