In depth

Verdict

Not a strong race overall and Cava Bien ought to go close with possibly Fly Me To Dunoon, Lightening Fire, Coleorton Dane and Heybrook Boy proving best of the rest. The selection shaped with promise on his second run and, given that he ran very green there, should have better to come. Mark Johnston's runners always have to be respected in these races and Heybrook Boy, who stayed on nicely last time at Pontefract from a poor draw, should go well over today's longer trip. Coleorton Dane was a long way clear of the third when second to Lamb Eile last time and has to be given a good chance at this level, while Lightening Fire stayed on on his debut and is another to be upped in distance while there is something to like about Fly Me To Dunoon's breeding. Of the others, Kumala Ocean was second in a seller on Southwell's all-weather on her debut and more looks to be required here. An interesting race for all that there is not a lot of strength in depth to it, and a race in which we will side with Cava Bien.
