Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this nursery but the main protagonists look to be Le Tiss, Rutters Rebel and Sir Frank Gibson and we will take a chance on the last named. The colt from the Mark Johnson yard has shown only a modicum of ability to date but with the step up in trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat off what looks a lowly mark. Le Tiss rates the main danger on his best form when defeating Habanero but he was disappointing last time and for that reason he is opposed here. Rutters Rebel won easily last time out when defeating Little Jimbob. However he will find this harder off his higher mark. Of the remainder Miss Ladybird is another in form but we are happy to take a chance on the lightly weighted Sir Frank Gibson.
