        Verdict

        Harry's Hero ran green when a well-beaten third at Yarmouth so improvement is likely. Lord Sam's Castle, a beaten favourite at Ayr last month, has been gelded and a drop back to 5f at Ripon clearly didn’t suit Act Of Will. Mahalik was third over this trip at Catterick but SEA IN THE DARK would have finished closer at Haydock with a clear run so Michael Dods’ stoutly-bred filly gets the nod.
