John Nicholson is an infrequent Irish raider to these shores but looks to have identified a strong opportunity for NORA BATT (NAP) here. The mare is 2-19 on turf but has been in her best form for some time of late with excellent placed efforts in good-sized fields at Tipperary and Bellewstown. The minimum trip on quick ground suits well and the booking of useful 7lb claimer Andrew Breslin is an additional plus. Course and distance winner Imperial Legend is an obvious danger if repeating the level of his latest run when a close third to Highly Focussed in a similar contest at Beverley.
