In depth

Verdict

Racoon just got the better of Hypnosis on their last encounter and given a three pound swing that result should be overturned in this handicap sprint but out in front of them both should be ROTHESAY DANCER. Allotted a six pounds penalty for a comfortable success last time Jim Goldie's veteran ran in the spirit of an animal who could follow up. This will be her 90th career start and the ground looks perfect for this milestone run. Hynosis is in receipt of a three pound swing form last time conquered Racoon so is entitled to reverse that form and challenge the pick. If Le Toreador takes this engagement instead of his Chetser booking on Saturday he has to be respected off a fair mark but with a lot to find on the two we've just mentioned. More was expected of Royal Intruder last time and a three pound mark reduction will help that one get closer but in a typically tight sprint Rothesay Dancer could follow up.
