In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off proceedings in which the market may prove the best guide but the TEAMtalk selection is One For Philip. The gelding from the Len Lungo yard has shown enough in this sphere to suggest he can win a race of this nature, and on his second behind Tickton Flyer he will be very hard to beat. Autumn Stroll finished 12th in a listed bumper at Cheltenham behind Rhinestone Cowboy and a reproduction of that form would see him go close in this easier affair. Coy Lad has also shown a modicum of ability but he is bred to do much better over a longer trip. Catch The Perk was fourth behind Gastornis last time out on similar ground and if he reproduces that effort he has definite place claims. Gold Native is a Be My Native gelding who is worth a look in the market with his stable beginning to hit top form.
