In depth

Verdict

Highcal has hit a rich vein of form of late and recorded back to back handicap wins both here and Redcar before a staying-on second over a mile and a half at Catterick (Subador Major a further three lengths behind and now 9lb better). The return to this longer trip will suit while both Lady Lap Dancer and Oriental Empress are both lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement.
