In depth

Verdict

Knockara Luck is progressing nicely and is fancied to be too good for her stablemate Sparrow Hawk and The Music Queen, while Agent Lois - another previous winner - is respected but has a bit more on her plate in than she faced here last November and she looks up against it on these terms. The Music Queen can be expected to have benefited from her debut run and should be more suited to this firmer ground. However, Sparrow Hawk made her look one paced when they met at Sedgefield last month and, even with a 7lb pull at the weights, it is hard to see the form being reversed if they are both developing at the same rate. Even so, Sparrow Hawk has a bit to find with the selection and, as jockey bookings would suggest, the daughter of Hawker's News may have to simply play second fiddle to the selection on this occasion. Knockara Luck was not showing any signs of stopping when she won at Punchestown and she is fully expected to cope with her double penalty in this company.
