At the 31st attempt, Colour Contrast finally won a race here 11 days ago and is well drawn to stage a repeat, though 6lb higher and third Crazy Tornado could get closer. He has a wide draw, however, as does dual course winner Tellovoi. Christmas Night looked to be coming to hand at Thirsk but CHAPLIN BAY has run well in defeat the last twice at Newcastle racing in much better company. He is thrown in here on the pick of his Turf form so should take all the beating granted luck in-running.
