In depth

Verdict

CHARMINSTER could never quite get to grips with the free-running Laterly on his chasing debut at Sedgefield but stayed on strongly in the closing stages and will strip fitter here. He's the obvious one here though Vosges was only beaten a length in a handicap over C&D in November before chasing home Irish raider Maggio over a longer trip here last month. Despite starting at generous odds, Bogside ran well until unseating his rider at Sedgefield and should find a small race somewhere but Degas Art may need this after six months off and is jumping fences late in life. Just Maddie may also be found wanting.
