      Verdict

      SHAWAAMEKH isn't the easiest to win with but latest runs over 6f and 7f suggest he's ready to strike. All three career successes have been at this trip and Paul Mulrennan is an interesting first-time booking for the Born To Sea gelding, who was beaten just over a length in a decent Thirsk handicap at this level recently. Oso Rapido is a threat as he's been in good form over the past month, though his yard has been quiet in the past fortnight. Gometra Ginty and Glinbury can also take a hand from opposite ends of the handicap.
