Verdict

Just A Fluke, Five Years On and The Number all have claims in this maiden and the nomination is given to Just A Fluke. The selection ran his best race for some time when second behind Templet at Hamilton last time out and if he can carry that revival on here then he will be hard to beat on the pick of his form. Five Years On was a beaten favourite over 5 furlongs behind Smart Starprincess when last seen out on the AW at Southwell in December, and he should be suited by the step up to a mile. However, he may just need this run after a long absence from the track. The Number is another that will be helped by this longer trip after he put up another decent effort over 7 furlongs when 5th behind Saros. Graceful Air looks the best of the rest but we will stick with Just A Fluke as our idea of the winner.
