Verdict

GLOBAL HUMOR can’t get much lower in the weights. He got himself worked up on the way to post at Ayr last time but still travelled strongly into the race and may well reverse that form with winner Monhammer and runner-up Cobra Kai. Ugo Gregory is another who is well treated nowadays but he’s become disappointing. Merricourt hasn’t been at his best the last twice but Society Lion should run his race again while Chester third Surprise Picture looks a threat to all. Kats Bob won this last year but is still 7lb higher, though his rider claims back all of that. Star Of St James is another to consider with his stable ending the season strongly.
