Verdict

Plenty with chances, including ALKADI who made a pleasing debut on the polytrack at Lingfield when scoring with something in hand. This will tell us how good the Oasis Dream filly is but she looks a definite improver and has been afforded a feasible mark for her handicap bow. Laffan scored twice on Fibresand in January and has been rested since but will be a danger to all if he delivers a similar improvement level reverting to turf. Tinzapeas looked an improved sort when landing a Leicester maiden towards the end of last season and this looks a reasonable starting point for the new season with a good run expected, whilst Colbyor is of interest for the Fahey team and the ultra-consistent Joshua The First has place claims once again.
