In depth

Verdict

The market should prove an invaluable guide but Gordon Elliott has an excellent record here with a select band of horses and all looks set for a big run from MOONMAN with Richard Johnson booked on this bumper debut. An easy winner of his only start in the pointing arena, he rates a gelding of some potential. Ballycrystal and Motion To Strike are other interesting recruits from between the flags but the main threats could emerge from Atomix and Irish raider, Fenlon's Hill, both of whom ran nicely when runner-up on their respective bumper debuts.
