Verdict

PRESENT CHIEF completed a double in minor handicaps but it was his latest run that points to his chances here. Not beaten far in a Class 2 handicap at Newbury, this is a drop in grade and he can return to winning ways. No Regrets landed two lower-class handicaps in very impressive fashion and possibly found 2m1f too short on his return from a break at Carlisle so looks a big threat. Weather Front has managed to win seven races and competed at Listed level last time so he should find this much more to his liking. Get Out The Gate is better over fences though has to run from the same mark over timber.
