Verdict

The trickiest event on the card, in many respects. Oscar Blue is interesting with Paddy Brennan booked whilst it would be dangerous to ignore Taglietelle off top-weight as he was beaten only six and a half lengths by Grade 1 performer Arctic Fire three starts back. He could be good enough to concede weight all round if at the top of his game. Call The Cops and Cup Final travel from Seven Barrows in search of good ground and the market should help to evaluate their chances after their respective lay-offs but a chance is taken with WARRIORS TALE. He's contested two chases since joining the champion trainer but it's not that much of a surprise to see him return to timber. He was a progressive hurdler for Nicky Richards and could well appreciate the return to that discipline off a feasible mark. He should stay this extended trip and is a speculative choice to get back on track.
