        Verdict

        Breakwater Bay will be fancied to go one better than when only beaten a short-head at Redcar 11 days ago. The top weight holds Jan Smuts on that run but a 4lb higher mark is a concern. GRAN MAESTRO got back to winning ways over hurdles at Wetherby in January. He was third on his return to the Flat at Yarmouth three weeks ago and this trip should be more to his liking. Ruler Of The Nile is on a decent mark but he struggles to get his head in front nowadays.
