Verdict

Most of these wouldn’t be out of place in a seller. Lucinda Russell runs three and it would be no surprise if Superior Command proved the pick. He was beaten when falling at the last at Uttoxeter last month but stablemates Near To Tears and Grexit were probably even more disappointing. Endeavor would certainly have a chance in a race like this and so would Claude Carter but the four-year-old STONE QUERCUS gets a tentative vote. He was only beaten a length carrying a penalty in a juvenile hurdle here in November and a repeat of that effort would see him thereabouts.
