In depth

Verdict

This looks very tight with several of these very closely matched on recent form. Our Charlie Brown was receiving 3lb from Heir of Excitement when beating him a head at Catterick and 7lb from Raselasad when runner-up to him over this course and distance. The latter race was on fast ground which may have suited the winner and Tim Easterby's charge can reverse the form. However, he'd earlier finished behind LOMU at Ayr and Keith Dalgleish's lightly-raced colt looks to have the potential to go on to better things as he didn't quite last home over a mile at Pontefract last time. Areen Heart has been racing in better company and might be galvanised by a change of stables while it's virtually impossible to rule out anything else, including the lightly-raced Irish raider At Your Service.
