In depth

Verdict

KAJAKI has now won both starts over hurdles and had a subsequent winner back in third when scoring at Wetherby. There should be more to come from Kevin Ryan’s charge now handicapping and he’s preferred to Surf And Turf, who was third over course and distance last time. Iconic Belle won a novice hurdle here in November and is unexposed but Nendrum was clear of the field when falling at the second last here on his latest outing and looks a bigger threat to the selection.
