In depth

Verdict

Saddle Pack finished closer at Newcastle last time and the winning pointer may improve again having only his sixth start under Rules today. Definite Appeal ran well for third at Catterick recently and he should also be thereabouts but HURRICANE JACK looks the one to beat. He won a tougher contest over C&D last month by six lengths and an 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent him following up in this given the remaining trio are all struggling for form and easily dismissed.
