Verdict

PRESVIS won this trial for the Duty Free last year and remained in outstanding form before landing the real thing on World Cup Night in March. He arrived without a warm-up a year ago and has had an even longer absence this time and won't have things his own way against Rajsaman and Musir. The former was a long way behind Luca Cumani's star in the Duty Free but was in excellent form throughout the summer and landed the Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein from Rio De La Plata at Longchamp on Arc day. Musir, the 2010 UAE Derby winner, is always a force to be reckoned with here and made a very impressive reappearance in the first round of the Maktoum Challenge two weeks ago. Frankie's mount Le Drakkar was another to finish a long way behind Presvis in this last year and it's very difficult to see an improvement.
