Verdict

HUNTER'S LIGHT has the call on official figures and, as he was having his first start since March and conceding 9lb to the consistent Elleval on his reappearance last month, he should improve enough to take this. He's already won a Group 1 here and looks a bit better class than these rivals. Dave Simcock has acquired a tremendous prospect in Calling Out, a Listed winner and regular participant at the highest level in France. He may just need this so it could be the Mike De Kock-trained Umgiyo who provides the main threat as he looked better than a handicapper when making a winning start here last month. Bank Of Burden has some useful Group form in Scandanavia and will have come on for his run here a fortnight ago while Mr Pommeroy wasn't beaten far in the Group 2 won by Vercingetorix last month.
