Rakaan arrived here with little experience of the all-weather but made a tremendous Carnival debut when less than a length behind City Style. That was his first run since Goodwood in July and it will have put him straight for this. Atlantic Sport, who was just behind, is returning to form and looks certain to go well. The latter's trainer Mike De Kock also runs Clearly Silver, who ran very well behind Dandy Boy over this trip before finding 6f too short last time. The globe-trotting Indomito made a fair start here last month behind Solid Choice and this regular pattern-raced performer should have come on nicely for the run though he does have a little to find with Yirga on that effort. AYUN TARA has only had one start on sand so remains something of an unknown but she ran very well on turf here behind Aspectoflove in the Grade 2 Cape Verdi and has a Listed success in France to her credit. She has as good a chance as any in a tough event to call. The very speedy Lipocco could just need this after a break since scoring in Germany in October.
