Verdict

This is easily the most competitive race on the card and plenty will be want to be with Lucky Landing after his very easy victory at Bangor. His yard is in good form but a penalty means he carries a welter burden. Surf And Turf is not an easy ride but McCoy nursed him home at Worcester 11 days ago and he will no doubt be played late again here. O'Crotaigh has won here five times but never off a mark this high and Fiftyonefiftyone has never won beyond 2m2f. Rockiteer probably needs a bit further so we'll take VIOLETS BOY to follow up a recent track and trip success. That was his first try over the larger obstacles but he jumped well and has plenty of scope for further improvement.
